❖ Rigid Heddle Weaving with Red Heart Super Saver Ombre – Old vs. New Yarn Test! ❖
The blanket is finished! I found two very different qualities of Red Heart Super Saver Ombre on the shelf, but I'm going to use them both! Weaving four panels on my 25-inch loom, I compare the texture, thickness, and overall feel of the older, stiffer version versus the newer, softer and cozier yarn. After washing, crocheting the panels together, and finishing with twisted fringe, I share my honest thoughts on how each version performs in a woven blanket. If you're a weaver wondering whether this yarn is right for your next project, this video has all the insights you need!
